Covenant Custom Homes just broke ground on our newest estate home in Mills Farm.  Situated on a beautiful southwest facing corner lot, (lot 175) our newest home, known as the “Piedmont” boasts more than 6,000 square feet of luxury living on three floors.  Right now, Mills Farm is on fire with new homes selling briskly and inventory very lean.

The Piedmont features, four car garage, daylight lower level, five bedrooms with en suite baths, two story great room two stair cases and a true “cooks kitchen.” While firm pricing has not been set, our expectation is to offer it at between $998,000 and $1,100,000.  There are only a handful of estate lots remaining in Mills Farm so we expect a contract sometime before sheet rock.  The home is projected to be completed in late 2012.

The Piedmont is slated to be finished in a slightly more “edgy” style with clean lines, transitional decor features and a lighter more “silky” color palate.  We’ve been interviewing designers for the project and have even considered two ASID designers; one from L.A. and one from Chicago.  We don’t mean to suggest that we don’t have talented designers right here in Kansas City, but that we want to do something truly unique.
