It appears that the 26 new lots in phase I of Mills Crossing (159th & Switzer, Overland Park) will be available April 1st. We were shooting for December 1st but rain and cold had their effect causing this delay. A few builders including Covenant Custom Homes have already placed 21 of the 26 lots under contract. We have selected five lots and have a build job, a spec home and a new model in the design phase and expect to break ground on all three in April. We expect that a few families will be moving to Mills Crossing in the fall of 2015. The expectation is that homes will vary from Reverse story and half, to Story and a half to Two story plans. Prices should start in the low $600,000’s to about $1.0 million.

We love our new Covenant Home. The attention to detail and craftmanship is outstanding. Michael, John and Ray were all incredible to work with and always available for any question. From the very beginning of the process to the day we moved in they were with us the entire way. John helped us pick lighting, fixtures, colors, etc. that were not only cost effective but look beautiful. Michael was our main contact and made sure every commitment was met. Ray was our on-sight coordinator and also assured my wife’s questions and concerns were addressed. The team is awesome. There are three other non-Convenant homes being built right next to ours and we came by every day to look at the progress; most days our home had 5 to 10 people working while the other three were left with 1 or 2. Coreen and I relocated from Buckeye AZ to Olate KS. Coreen discovered a new subdivision called The Willows. She found a home that was started and met with the builder Michael Menghini of Covenant Custom homes. He gave her a tour of the home as it was being built. We contracted Michael to complete our home. He was very attentive to our needs.

With his team, he made building a home in KS while living in AZ very workable.
